Highlights from Magento Imagine 2017

Magento Imagine 2017 recently wrapped up in Las Vegas, and what an amazing event it was. Over 2,500 commerce experts from more than 45 countries gathered at the Wynn hotel to inspire, educate, and collaborate with fellow merchants, agencies, and technology providers – all while having a lot of fun.

Magento Imagine Sessions

Most attendees of Imagine 2017 were marketers already using Magento or those preparing to migrate to the popular ecommerce platform. They were treated to informative presentations by Magento executives who shared expert advice on the latest platform developments, strategies, and technologies to maximize investment and tap into the unlimited potential of ecommerce marketing.

One popular session was the “Will AI Finally Deliver Personalization at Scale?” panel moderated by Emarsys President of Americas, Sean Brady. Panelists included Magento Commerce VP of Strategy, Peter Sheldon; Gorilla Group’s Managing Director of Client Engagement, Ryan Noel; and the illustrious Allen Nance, CMO of Emarsys. The spirited discussion took a look at the challenges and opportunities marketers will face in the next five years, covering everything from emerging channels and personalization techniques to how new technology, like artificial intelligence, will revolutionize the way marketers do their jobs and allow them to prioritize marketing strategy over tactics.

Magento Imagine was a great example of how partners support each other. Emarsys teamed up with the best minds at Magento and the ecommerce agency Gorilla Group to discuss the most current topics in the ecommerce platform space.

With Peter Sheldon’s extensive knowledge guiding companies through digital transformation and his background at Forrester, he provided a unique perspective of global research and ecommerce technology.

Ryan Noel of Gorilla Group is a fount of ecommerce, creative, and marketing expertise. Gorilla Group has not only partnered with Emarsys, but is a Magento Global Elite Solutions Partner, as well. With all the B2C and B2B background, conference attendees were treated to some genuine thought leaders and their wealth of modern marketing know-how.

Magento is a popular, easy-to-install platform that provides online retailers greater control over their website’s design, content, and functionality.
