Global marketing platform company appoints industry veteran, Bijan Bedroud as Chief Revenue Officer; Emarsys CEO, Ohad Hecht to lead Emarsys from US Indianapolis office

LONDON, UK and INDIANAPOLIS, USA – 9th August 2018 – Emarsys, the largest independent marketing platform company in the world, today announces the appointment of Bijan Bedroud as Chief Revenue Officer. Reporting to Emarsys CEO, Ohad Hecht, Bedroud will be responsible for Emarsys’ global commercial business, overseeing customer satisfaction initiatives and driving sustained revenue growth. The company also announces that CEO, Ohad Hecht will now lead Emarsys globally, based mostly from the company’s Indianapolis office. The move is a response to the USD $multi-Billion market opportunity for Emarsys in the US, and the company’s strategy to channel investments fromVector and TPG into the region to drive significant growth. The development of the leadership team and its geographic re-location comes as Emarsys continues its high-growth trajectory. Recent milestones include 141 per cent year-on-year new business sales growth, with momentum over the last few months announced with leading brands, such as La Jolla Group (O’Neill), Replacements Ltd., LD Products, Luisaviaroma, Astley Clarke and Global Shop Direct. Over the last eight years, Emarsys has achieved a compound annual growth rate of 42 per cent and increased global headcount from 70 to now more than 800 employees. Bedroud’s appointment will contribute significant experience to drive business growth, both in terms of organizational and revenue creation maturity, as well as closing big ticket enterprise wins. He joins from Adobe where, over the past five years, he grew the business from $120 million to $600 million in the Northern Europe, Middle East & African region.
