The marketing technology landscape is a flurry of point solutions and channel-specific vendors, all vying for your attention. We’re setting out to make it all easier for you to navigate. Read on and get ready to challenge the status quo.

In his 2004 book The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less, American psychologist Barry Schwartz argues that the myriad of choices available to the modern consumer is a major point of stress, and that we simply don’t have enough time or mental energy to sort through all of the options when seeking to satisfy our needs.

In his accompanying TEDTalk, Schwartz also explained how more choice creates higher expectations.

“Though modern Americans have more choice than ever, and thus, presumably, more freedom and autonomy, we don’t seem to be benefiting from it.”
